We are looking for sponsors to help the event continue to grow while gaining marketing exposure and community outreach. This year, we are looking to focus on promoting our event to a wider audience through professional website design, a streamlined Facebook presence, participation at various local races and other family friendly events. Your sponsorship helps defray the cost of organizing the event. Funds received from sponsorships will also be used to purchase t-shirts and refreshments for each race participant. All donations are tax deductible and any additional money will help purchase items needed by the NICU.
Become a corporate sponsor!
There are various levels of sponsorship for Running for Covers 2020. Sponsors will have their logo printed on t-shirts; size and placement are based on sponsorship level. Sponsors will also be prominently posted on the Running for Covers website and Facebook page, announced at the event, and mentioned during any media coverage. In order to have your company logo on printed (paper) promotional materials, you must commit to a level of sponsorship by May 31st. Sponsors committed by July 31st will have their logo printed on the shirts. We would love to form a reciprocal relationship with your company, cross promoting your business and Running for Covers. We are open to any and all ideas on how to best achieve this goal.

Running for Covers
Running for Covers is a 2.8 mile fun run/walk for which the “cost” of participating is a donation of a new, handmade, or gently used baby blanket. The 8th annual Running for Covers Event will take place at the Grandville Middle School Track, on Sunday August 16, 2020. In its inaugural, year over 50 people participated to collect approximately 200 blankets. Last year, more than 300 people gathered to donate over 400 blankets, hundreds of other needed items, and a $4,000 donation to the NICU at Mercy Health Saint Mary’s Hospital.
Perhaps our biggest news in 2015, was that Running for Covers became a tax-exempt nonprofit organization under category 501(c)(3). Due to the abundance of blankets donated by Running for Covers, the NICU dedicated their linen closet to Miss Paisley Mae, the preemie behind the event. “Paisley’s Closet” along with her story and information about Running for Covers are posted in their parent room.
